Artist's Description
One is the great historic landmarks of the Outer Banks is the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla, North Carolina. It was first lit in 1875 and automated in 1939. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 15, 1973. This artwork features a more painterly photograph of the old lighthouse.
About Jeremy Guerin
I was born in Washington DC and have spent most of my time in northern Virginia. I live in Leesburg with my wife and 2 young kids. Photography has become a passion for me in the last few years. It actually really grew out of toy photography! A lot of my work here is toy photography - Star Wars, Marvel, Batman, and more. As a toy collector, it is really fun for me to bring these things to life. It allows me to feel like a kid and an artist all at once. But I also really love nature and the outdoors which I'm just as passionate about. I was fortunate enough to travel to both Hawaii and Fiji with my wife a few years back so I have a big affinity for the tropical scenery and wildlife.
